Why We Built This Site
Texas courts do not place every record in one database. Wharton County District Court records belong with the District Clerk, while County Court matters go through the County Clerk. Justice and city cases remain with their own clerks. re:SearchTX, iDocket, the state citations portal, and city citation systems each cover a different slice. We built this site to make those boundaries plain and connect readers with the official source that can confirm the record.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket help: how Wharton County criminal and civil docket searches differ
- Calendar help: where to confirm a hearing date or changed setting
- Lookup paths: when to use iDocket, re:SearchTX, or a city portal
- Record requests: how the correct Wharton County clerk supplies plain or certified copies
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, or agency. Its limits are important:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They operate their own services and control their prices and results. A paid signup may produce a referral fee that supports this free resource. Wharton County Court Docket does not control a partner's coverage, charges, or output, so any result should be checked with the originating court.
